The immaculately restored Knockdow House, unlike many other wedding venues, has been specifically designed as a luxurious Highland retreat, where the ancient customs of generous hospitality and a warm welcome are very much to the fore.
This elegant Scottish mansion house, set in 600-acres of Argyll countryside, is a beautiful location for your wedding. In the house, alongside quiet corners and cosy old fireplaces, we have modern, open, flexible spaces that are perfect for groups and celebrations. The house is packed full of character, history and charm.
Hosting your wedding here provides a unique opportunity for you and your guests to enjoy heritage and luxury, elegantly combined under one roof to create a quintessential home away from home.
Enjoy the best of Scottish hospitality.
Knockdow House is not a wedding factory. We recognise that every bride is unique, as are their dreams for their big day. The venue is just a starting point to those dreams. We can recommend highly experienced and creative service providers who will make your every wish a reality. We are equally delighted to welcome your own chosen suppliers and we will work closely with them to facilitate their role in making your big day the success it deserves to be.
At Knockdow House we only host a limited number of weddings each year. To avoid any disappointment, call us on +44 (0)1369 870 199 or email email@example.com to discuss your plans in more detail and arrange to view this beautiful house and the opportunities that it affords.
